Oscillators include 4 types, they are Temperature-compensated
crystal oscillators (TCXO), oven-controlled crystal oscillators
(OCXO), voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO), and Simple-Packaged
Crystal Oscillator (SPXO) or Crystal Oscillator (XO).
It is difficult to estimate the ratio
of quality and price of later phase when you select products
in the first phase. So we can select according to the following

For example, if you select the fax machine
in the office, by the above advice, you can choose TCXO and
VCXO, whose work temperature range is 0oC to 50oC and stability
is ±10~±20PPM,or SPXO, which has lower price.
